Worms is a biannual ‘female-led print publishing platform dedicated to amplifying the voices of writers marginalised within the literary world.’ Following an untraditional ninth edition—comprised of a digital issue accompanied by a feature in Novembre #16—Worms is back in its full print glory! The tenth edition of Worms is titled ‘The Love Issue’ and digs into the many facets of love, confronting the messy, sexy, tender and complicated. Inspired by cover girl Shon Faye’s profound memoir Love in Exile, inside P. Eldridge chats with Shon about what it means to love and be loved as a trans woman within a system that excludes you. Also featured in this issue: Torrey Peters, Precious Okoyomon, Sarah Aziza, Constance DeJong, Carmen Maria Machado, Constance Debré, Melissa Febos, Jackie Ess, Sophie K Rosa and many more. On the JournalAt work with Caitlin McLoughlin: ‘What I love about Worms, and the magazine project generally, is that adaptability and constant evolution is built into it’s iterative nature. We always want to be responsive to literary and political discourse, to be a salve or a platform for what our community is experiencing, interested in, or concerned by. So in that sense our future is determined and engaged by external forces, which is the way it should be.’read more wormsmagazine.com
