Created by a couple of self-identified ‘makers’, the Glasgow-born publication We Are Makers exists to ‘connect the reader and the maker’ while providing an opportunity for in-depth stories to be shared, craft to be (deservedly) shown off and creative communities cultivated. The fifteenth issue celebrates the human touch and revolts against algorithms and machines trying to replace and accelerate the process of creation. Inside, the We Are Makers team travel 4,000 miles across the US, tracing the makers landscape though 16 stops and talking about each encounter on their podcast.
