‘We believe that the built environment is about more than news and aspirational interiors, or academic philosophizing and critique. It is also about something bigger: our lives.’ This exciting launch seeks to show how the everyday infrastucture around us might be used to improve the spaces we live in and objects we rely on. It is an editorially independent initiative of the design company Henrybuilt. The second issue considers New York’s Chinatown as a readymade, Nancy Holt’s 1980s “System Works” installations, the enduring impacts of the architectural print shop and gallery a83, work by American Studio Craft legends Wendy Maruyama and Tom Loeser, and more, with contributions by Diana Budds, Jarrett Fuller, Josh Itiola, Edwin Heathcote, Shane Reiner-Roth, and Alissa Walker, among others.  untappedjournal.com
