The Wild Siren

1

‘Poetry, Romanticism and a sprinkle of Rock n Roll’ The Wild Siren started out life as a popular Pinterest board inspired by the ‘rockstar girlfriend’ aesthetic, before evolving into a literary and arts publication of the same name. Much like its Pinterest precursor, the debut issue is an anarchic patchwork of art, essays, poetry, photography, and other romantic musings—echoing founder Emma Griffiths vision for a space ‘where the chaos and calm welds neatly together’. Highlights include Gigi de Amador’s examination of the recent rise in autonomous female leads on screen, Caroline Dollinger’s ode to the leather jacket and Ailis Dupré’s affective monochrome prints.
