Born within the walls of Central Saint Martins, the uniquely Anglo-Greek zine returns for its 4th edition – continuing to unravel queer Greek narratives, from ancient myth to present-day moments. Its title, lifted from a thousand year old vase inscription and still striking in its angular Greek-style typography, The Boy is Beautiful gestures towards the ancient and reshapes it through a queer lens. The iconic terracotta cover remains, but this time softened: Less contrast, more intimacy, more flesh. This issue titled ‘Hold Me’ leans into warmth and tenderness – in times that ask for softness as much as strength. In the middle – colour printed and pale blue pages nestled within the monochrome, almost as if being held. theboyisbeautiful.com
