Redesign! This is the second edition since Port's latest redesign, which notably does away with Matt Willey’s bold blocky masthead, now replaced by various hand drawn versions from each of its five cover stars, this time: Jeremy Lee (who also guest edits), Ke Huy Quan, Brian Cox, Hari Nef and Ben Whishaw. On the process, the team explain: ‘It's the sort of thing that can't be forced - on set, after he had drawn the Port logo, we asked Franz Rogowski [of issue #33] to give us some more options. He refused, telling us if we asked for more, it'd be our interpretation and not his. He's right.’ Notably, this issue is 'The Food Issue'. Bookended with new sections—‘The Portfolio’ offers a round up of creatives, while ‘Commentary’ is a a matt literary section which this time features encounters with eating from Fernanda Eberstadt, Nikki Shaner-Bradford and Emmeline Clein.
