‘The intersection of urban life and nature’ A magazine from The Flatplan graduate Louisa Minter-Kemp, the sophomore issue of Nature Zine is themed ‘Urban Food: foraging + farming’ and is dedicated to understanding the long chain that came before the food on our plates and how to have a more intuitive relationship with that chain. With contributors from founders of sustainable food organisations, a professional forager, a climate filmmaker and more, the issue introduces readers to the world of wild-food hunting in the city, substitutes our commercialised perception of food with a more direct, connected outlook and shares passion-led stories challenging us to practice a slower, more natural relationship with what we eat in order to help build a more sustainable planet.
