The first in a new quarterly series from Uhm! Zines, Jian Jian (or 兼兼) is named after the Chinese character representing duality, inviting photographers to ‘present their world—or something they deeply connect with—through a storytelling approach, using only black and white film.’ This first issue, titled ‘Last Day of Summer’ was photographed by creator Stefano Samà around London last year, offering a peaceful, monochromatic snapshot of that fleeting summer feeling.
