Coeval is a new large format underground arts and culture magazine and the eponymous print publication of the popular online platform and creative studio. The avant-garde biannual was conceived with the intention of uniting creatives across disciplines—covering architecture, art, design, events, fashion, film, photography, performance, music and more—with the overarching goal of ‘establishing a framework of reference points aimed at the post-digital future’. Rebellious from the offset, Coeval debuted with issue #0 in 2024. This, then, is their sprawling sophomore edition, exploring the complicated topic of ‘Witnessing’ in an age marked by pervasive surveillance and rapidly advancing AI technology.
